The counter top company (Lake Erie Countertops) came over yesterday to remove the counters and I set to work installing the undermount drawer slides. Also took a 2 door cabinet and remade it into a 3 drawer cabinet. New counters on Friday.

Been a little under the weather so it took about two months to get my shop out of storage. Tomorrow the electrician will be here to supply power for the equipment then it's off to making sawdust once again. First project: 23 doors and 13 drawers for the kitchen remodel.

Well it had to start somewhere. First sawdust in the new shop! My brother and I put in a new header in the basement. Many moons ago someone cut through two floor joists and didn't add any support. This resulted in a scale and creak in the dinning room floor.

I haven't done much with this page for the last 3 years as Rae and I have traveled the U.S. but that is about to change! I hope you will join me as I set up a new woodworking shop at our new (to us) 112 year old American Four Square. Once the shop is set up it will be off to the kitchen for a floor up remodel to bring our kitchen in to the 21st century.
