Alice Atkins McCoy, CMKBD, ASID Allied, offers award-winning kitchen and bath design. Alice is a native of Charleston, West Virginia and a graduate of Marshall University. She opened her first kitchen design showroom in 1978, Galley Designs Ltd. in Charleston, WV, one of only a few kitchen and bath design firms owned by a female proprietor at that time in the United States.
Nationally distinguished in her field, Alice is recognized for her superior kitchen and bath designs. Her design of Cajun Chef Justin Wilson’s Louisiana kitchen was featured on his televised cooking show. She has been published in the Florida Times-Union’s Water’s Edge, Kitchen and Bath Business, 2nd Home Journal and Design/Build, along with a featured cover in Women’s Digest. Alice’s kitchens both in the Main House and School House are featured at the Stetson Mansion (Deland, FL), and on the National Register of Historic Places. She participated in numerous Show House events in Jacksonville and Tallahassee in Florida, and Charleston, West Virginia. She has clients throughout the Southeast and Midwest. Alice is a: Certified Master Kitchen & Bathroom Designer (CMKBD) by the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), making her the second person in Florida to achieve this title.
