Thank you for all the prayers. Mom was released from the hospital yesterday and is slowly recovering. Time to make all her follow up appointments tomorrow. Getting ready for the next phase in her treatment 🙏❤️🙏❤️

Over the the last 8 days besides working full time I managed to can 6 pints of dill pickles, 7 pints spicy pickles, 10 half-pints hot sauce, 7 half-pints strawberry jam and 6 half-pints honeysuckle jelly. This doesn't include the 10 half-pints of honeysuckle jelly I made last month. Plus 2 pints of pickled jalapenos and 1 small jar of pepper sauce.

Crazy since honeysuckle started to bloom again and dandelions are everywhere!!!

I think I'm going to need more canning jars 😂😂

Nothing like looking out the window seeing your steer trying to jump the fence to get to one of your heifers in a freaking rain storm with the thunder and lightening!! I don't think he remembers being cut!!
So we had to move the heifers to the back pasture in this mess. Otherwise, Valentino would have been hamburger meat and missed his appointment with the butcher.
Bonus find, Tina dropped her calf today. Not sure if it's a little heifer or bull, but it's name shall be Thunder ⚡. Can't wait to get a better look tomorrow 🩷💙
