I get by with a little help from my friends … and sometimes, that friend is Chad, aka ChatGPT. As you can see, it’s a real piece that I really painted…I just don’t have it in me to stage it properly right now. (I know, Judy! I know!) I had a grand plan of putting it in my dining room, and it would look a little something like this. Alas, it’s not to be…but it can be for you. DM to purchase.

Solid oak. Awful paint job. Busted door. Broken drawer. That ain’t👏no👏thang👏 … I got you! 💪

Completely stripped the piece. ✔️
Rebuilt the door. ✔️
Added a piano hinge and new bottom to the space where the drawer was. ✔️
Finished it all with a custom mixed stain in high gloss black. ✔️

She went from busted to beautiful in just three weeks! 😍😍😍

Monday, Monday. I sing this every week … anyone else? Just me?

What are you doing today? Making anything? Doing anything?

Mondays for me are errand days, usually. I try to ease into the week with errands and a loose schedule… My daddy’s birthday is Wednesday and this week always hits me different, without fail. I recently made this horse … it reminds me of my dad’s horses. I have been thinking of doing a couple different color combinations … maybe that will be a project for the week … 🤔

So, anyway … what’s good?

National Love Your Pet Day?! I love my girls. 💖 You’re pretty familiar with Birdee, on the left. She’s a mood. 😅 Khola, on the right, is a new addition. We’ve had her about six months now, and she’s just sweet as can be. She’s kinda like me - she reads a room before she enters and only tolerates authenticity. When no one else cares, these two do, and I’m so thankful to have them with me. They keep me going most days. 💖

I learned a lot, that’s for sure…about myself, others, people in general.

My therapist asked me what I was most looking forward to in 2026, and my answer was “taking my power back.”

I’ll have more to say and share later…

Sometimes surviving is enough.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Thank you to those of you who sustained me for yet another year. I appreciate you for hanging around, for reaching out, for seeing me, for coming back, and for thinking of me when you need something. This business has given me the greatest opportunity for personal growth, and I’m incredibly thankful for that and for all of you I’ve met along the way.
