Yes! The Universal Series Chef Knife is I a must in my house and it comes with its own colorful blade protector for safe storage, transporting, and handling. The Chef’s Knife is 7¾ inches. The handle is raised, so when gripped, your knuckles do not touch the counter top and your free hand can rest gently on top of the blade (on the dull side) to guide the knife when dicing or chopping.
🔪 The cutting side of the blade is gently tapered for chef-inspired balance. It’s easy to chop, slice, dice, and cut through cabbage, pineapple 🍍, pumpkin , watermelon 🍉, or harder foods without difficulty. It’s perfect for chopping herbs 🌿, and the flat part of the blade can be used to crush garlic cloves.
