A thoughtful design process extends beyond the drawings and into the build itself. By bringing design and construction together from the start, we ensure every detail is considered and the overall vision carries through to ex*****on.

At Swatch Design Group, we hold a rare position: a builder with the ear of an interpreter and full ownership of the result. We are design-led builders who listen deeply, design with intention, and build with precision. Our work is rooted in translation, where ideas become structure and imagination finds form, all under one roof.

Is Flashback Friday still a thing, because we are bringing this one out of the archives.

There are some projects that stick with you, and this is one of them. From the overall layout to the smaller design details, every part of this space was thoughtfully considered to create a home that felt cohesive, functional, and completely personal to the homeowner.

The finished space is one thing. Seeing where it started? That’s the fun part.

This project required more than a fresh coat of paint and new finishes. We reworked the layout, took down walls, and completely rethought how the space could function.

At SDG, we love taking a space that isn’t working and figuring out what it could become.

One of the biggest mistakes we see is bringing a designer into a project too late.

By the time construction starts, a lot of important decisions have already been made and changing them later can be expensive, frustrating, or sometimes impossible.

Bringing your designer in early means we can think through the space as a whole: how it functions, how the rooms connect, where the lighting and electrical need to go, what materials make sense, and how everything comes together.

It’s not just about picking finishes.

It’s about making the right decisions before they become expensive decisions.

That’s why we believe interior design should be part of the conversation from the very beginning.

A dining room doesn’t always have to stay a dining room. For this project, we reimagined the space entirely by turning an unused dining area into a kitchen that better serves the way our clients live.

Some projects just remind us why we love what we do.

We’re incredibly proud of this one, not only for how beautifully it came together, but for the thought and intention behind every decision. From the way the spaces connect to the way the details work together, the entire home was designed with how our clients live in mind.

Great design isn’t just about creating a beautiful room. It’s about creating a home that feels cohesive, intentional, and completely your own.

This is a project we’ll be proud of for a long time.

Good design is about seeing the bigger picture.

When we approach a renovation or new construction project, we’re not asking, “How should we design this room?”

We’re asking, “How should this entire home feel?”

That means considering how spaces connect, what you see from one room into another, how materials and colors carry throughout the home, and how architectural details create continuity.

A kitchen shouldn’t feel disconnected from the living space. A hallway shouldn’t feel like an afterthought. And each room shouldn’t feel like it belongs to a completely different house.

Every space can have its own personality while still contributing to one cohesive experience.

A well-designed home isn’t just a collection of great rooms. It’s how those rooms work together that makes the difference.

What a view! 🌅

This lake house was designed around the view and this sunrise is just a hint of what’s to come.

We can’t wait to show you how the entire home came together. Stay tuned!

How do you design a space for one of the world’s most recognizable brands?

You start by understanding what makes the brand instantly recognizable and then find thoughtful ways to translate that identity into a physical experience.

For this project, every detail was considered with that in mind. From the overall layout and material selections to the lighting, furnishings, and branded moments, the space needed to feel unmistakably Nutella while still functioning as a welcoming, highly usable café.

It’s a great example of what we love about commercial design: taking a brand people already know and creating an environment that lets them experience it in an entirely new way.

We’re proud to have been brought onto this project and incredibly grateful for the hard work, collaboration, and dedication from everyone involved in making it possible. We're excited to finally show you the result.
