Affordable housing is a necessary for a lot of folks. We are embarking on a challenge to create spaces that feel like the old school way of living. Where you know you neighbors by name. A safe place for your kids to go outside and play, put you can still see what they are up to from the kitchen window kind of vibe. Where you can sit out on your porch and have conversations. Maybe invite someone over for a cup of coffee. AND its attainable financially.

We will continue to share how this huge opportunity develops. Working with female developers, architects and builders.

The baby boys nursery is coming together. We nailed down the concepts. Our client chose the option with wallpaper & wainscoting. So we are diving in deep this week getting everything scheduled for installation.

This is a tight turnaround, the baby shower is just around the corner!

Getting the site walk in at our project in Leimert Park. We made a few adjustments to one of the windows and adding a skylight in the primary bedroom.

During framing is the best time to check on all the details before drywall goes up. Next we go into mechanicals. Lighting, A/C etc.

This space was inspiring. I had to stop and take it in. Altadena has so much history & blessed to be a participant of the rebuild efforts for the residents who are victims of the fires.

You never know which way the wind will blow in life. I could never imagine I would be designing new construction homes 6 years ago. Our team continues to learn and grow, develop stronger partnerships and strive to continue to deliver the best transformations & level of service for our clients.

Choosing the right tile for a project can be overwhelming. The options are endless.

I like to begin with a color palette. Drop those on a mood board and build from there. Next, based on where the tile will be placed thats when the details matter. Is it going on a bathroom floor, backsplash in a kitchen an entryway all of those details matter.

Lastly, have fun, experiment.

There are so many choices and options for countertops, backsplashes etc. Finding the perfect materials for your project takes time.

I always learn something new and love exploring what the mother earth has blessed us with.
