Honestly forgot to post this 😂 busy ain’t even the word lol But anyways so not long ago got the call from a friend wanting a custom Santoku ,but this time it was different for sure. This blade was fully customized from the pattern to the handle pins.Every aspect of this blade was designed by the customer and executed by yours truly. The intention of this knife was to be a future family heirloom….which is probably the most humbling sentence I’ve heard 😂😂and led to the best project I have done so far as a blade smith .The end result was a 120 layer hand forged raindrop Damascus Santoku with stabilized maple Burl handles with bronzes pins and black carbon fiber liners. This blade is heated and temperature all professionally,freehand ground and forged over the anvil to shape. Really proud of my self for being able to pull this off honestly. This blade is fully complete, shaving sharp and off to a new home to be passed down for generations 😃

Two of my best pieces so far went to a new home just in time for Christmas’s. Twin twist pattern Damascus hunters coming in at around 100 layers with camo Kydex sheaths and blaze orange carbon fiber liners.

New blade up for grabs .Brand new hand forged 1084 and 15n20 Damascus steel professionally heat treated and tempered with a red snake skin print Kydex sheath and tech lock belt clip. Handle is from a bourbon barrel form a local va distillery and blade is about 80 to 100 layers . Blade is all sharpened and ready to go . I’ve been MIA on my page for quite some time. I am proud to say that I have officially finished the biggest set of Damascus knives I have forged to this date. This process was a very long process . With multiple failures, lack of time needed to prepare the steel and create the blades. Multiple pieces of equipment that I use in the process to forge my blades, including a drill press metal buffing system, and various other forms of machinery failed within the process of finishing and grinding of these blades . Nearly half of the first billet of 180 layer Damascus failed due to a large delamination within the layer of the steel, which within the timeframe was unsalvageable, therefore having to nearly completely restart the project in whole . But it is with the failure I managed to find great success in the process off making these blades . And I’m now proud to present my biggest knife set to this date. Each set is a 120 layer, Damascus, chef, knife, cleaver, and Parring knife. All three are equipped with exotic wood handles, such as Mexican bocote Madagascar, red Ebony ziricote. Each blade has been sharpened tempered etched and is wiped down with my own personal food, safe rust, preventing wax mixture. I want to thank everybody who is following my page up to this point. This has helped me grow as a Bladesmith and work towards my dream of hopefully turning my passion into my full-time profession . I also wanna take a moment to say thank you to the guys from Baker Forge, and tool for supplying me with this brand, new gator, p**s, Damascus etchent solution. And the guys at ancient smithy.com for supplying me with my brand new custom made dog head bladesmith hammer. Thank you all so very much 🥹

I’m now selling my own food safe blade polishing wax. This wax is made from all natural ingredients such as beeswax and coconut oil and a few drops of Japanese clove oil which acts as a natural antibacterial agent. This wax works great for keeping blades shiny and corrosion free and also works as a great polish for cutting boards and other projects.
