Candles are one of the oldest poetic symbols, so there are countless poems about lighting them. Writers use candlelight to represent grief, hope, prayer, memory, love, solitude, warmth, and even rebellion against darkness. The act itself, striking the match, the brief sulfur scent, the tiny bloom of fire, the room changing shape in soft light, is incredibly poetic, which is probably why people keep returning to it in writing.

The scent is warm, dark and velvety like roasted coffee beans, melted coconut oil and brown sugar. It has a soft bitterness balanced by creamy sweetness, with hints of toasted nuts, vanilla and something earthy like rain soaked wood. The smell feels sweet and comforting, lingering in the air like warmth from a fireplace, equal parts indulgence, nostalgia, and quiet luxury. Any ideas?
