Happy Thursday, Y'all.
As many of you know, we had plans to welcome a potential new tenant into our building beginning tomorrow May 1st. However, after careful consideration we've decided to not follow that plan and have ended our relationship with them. It is what it is, and we wish them well on their future endeavors and ventures. It was just determined that they were not a good fit for us, our plans for the building, or for The Block aka North Centre Street Cumberland. And Dr Azad and I are pleased with our determination and decision.
However, part of that plan was for me Dave Love to move to more of an online presence assisting Dr Azad with his other metro locations and e-commerce presence as he prepares for retirement. Our "front door" has not supported the costs of the building for several years now. And, there is a necessity to continue our plan to change.
So, we have decided to move forward with our plans, and my move to a private rug consultation office on our 2nd floor, as we continue to seek the right tenant for the first floor and commercial kitchen.
We do have a carefully drafted lease available for 1802 square feet of the building with a potential lease area upto 4200 square feet to an established and professional food and/or beverage business. The whole building is also still on the market at $525k.
So, today is going to be your lucky day if you are looking for a rug. I will be there from 12-7 PM and all rug prices will be slashed to help us get through until we are up and running again later this Summer with a new plan.
So, please stop by today and get yourself a rug - tomorrow will be too late.
