Making Sweet Summer Memories
Can you believe it’s already August? Summer always seems to fly by! Before we know it, the kids will be back in school, football season will be here, and fall will be just around the corner. But before we get there, let’s soak up every last bit of summer.
I hope you’re spending these last sunny days making memories with the people you love - whether that’s around the grill, at the lake, on vacation, or simply enjoying a quiet morning on the porch with a piece of toast and your favorite jam.
One of my favorite things about doing markets is getting to catch up with so many of you. I love hearing which flavors you’ve been enjoying, how you’re using them, and watching someone discover a new favorite after that very first sample. Those little moments truly make my heart happy and remind me why I love doing what I do.
As summer begins to wind down, I hope you’ll take time to enjoy the simple things - the laughter around the table, time with family and friends, and all the sweet memories that make this season so special.
Speaking of sweet memories… I just had to share something that made me smile.
A Little Homemade Happiness by the Sea

A few days ago, one of my wonderful customers sent me these photos from his beach vacation, and I couldn’t stop smiling.
Not long ago, I put together a Neely Farm Six Pack Box with a few of my favorite flavors for him to try. Seeing those jars make their way to the beach and become part of his vacation was such a sweet surprise!
He’s been such a blessing to me, and I’m so thankful our paths crossed. Moments like these remind me that this little business is about so much more than making jams and jellies - it’s about the wonderful people I get to meet along the way and the memories I get to be a small part of.

🌞 August Flavor Spotlight
Banana Jam is one of those flavors that surprises people in the best way. It’s sweet, smooth, a little nostalgic, and somehow tastes like summer break in a jar.
It’s delicious on warm toast or biscuits, but I really love it spooned over vanilla ice cream for an easy summertime treat. You can also spread it on a toasted peanut butter sandwich, add it to pancakes or waffles, or pair it with vanilla wafers for a fun little snack.
It may not be the first flavor you expect to fall in love with - but after one bite, you’ll understand why so many people do.
A few fun ways to enjoy it:

I wanted to give Branchwater another little shout-out because I’m just so thankful for them.
