Binx, formerly known as I’m Wealthy, is now living out his retired glory days but he once was a scrappy little racehorse who went from dead last to win a race. He then became an event horse and towards the end, dabbled in dressage. He shows how versatile the thoroughbred breed truly is and how big their hearts can be.

It’s why he graces our Homestretch candle and his image now helps horses in need. $2 from each sale of this candle is donated to equine nonprofits to aid in their mission to help neglected, abandoned, or retired horses. This is how we Trot It Forward. ❤️

Shoutout to the lovely Rebekah McLain | Western Fine Art for capturing this amazing moment on paper!

So happy to get rid of that ugly sun bleached coat on Flint! Our guys live out pretty much year round so I’m fighting a losing battle against the sun and sweat. Although I’m intrigued about zinc/copper supplements for dark coats. Drop a comment if you’ve tried them!

With shedding coats and cooler weather, it may be time to break out sheets and blankets. Our Blanket Season is a little less hairy though, with notes of bergamot, mahogany, and musk. A lovely warm scent for those cold winter months!

It’s always a little scary starting something new but it’s very rewarding seeing it blossom. Trot It Forward launched almost a year ago and we’ve been thrilled with the support from all of you! We hope to have some new additions to it once we get through the end of the year so stay tuned!

If you want to check out the two amazing groups we’ve donated to this year:

👻 Apparently ghosts aren’t very scary…watch until the end! 😂 We still have a few Ghost Rider soaps left in stock. They are beautifully scented for the autumn months with apple and sage notes. Grab one before they vanish! 👻👻👻

Our old barn may not be red but it was the inspiration for our newest candle. It’s old, weathered, and probably full of spiders but it still stands tall. It gives my two horses a place to rest if needed and I’m thankful for that. ❤️

🕯️ Since relocating to Kentucky and discovering so many beautiful old barns, we had to pay our respects with the newest member of our Winter Collection: Red Barn.

Get ready for cooler months ahead with fragrance notes of fir needles, vanilla, patchouli, cedar, clove, marshmallow, and smoked woods.

This one will immediately make you want to bundle up, get outdoors, and get that campfire going. 🔥

🕯️ Something new is coming…… 🕯️ Seriously though, these guys are my therapists. Although a traditional one might be cheaper. Watch this space tomorrow! 👀

I think the boys have a little shade now. And it’s gonna be sexy when completed. 😂

Ok, ok. To be fair, he’s swamped with work and I know it will eventually get done. It does make me giggle though seeing my one post and beam 😂❤️

🍏Just to be clear, I’m not saying you should go out and feed your horses a bag of apples to keep the vet away. Although Flint and Binx might disagree … 😂

🍎Apple picking is in full swing and these beauties came from local growers . So if you have a local orchard, get picking and support your local businesses!

🕯️ Our Apples For Horses soy candle is still on sale but you only have until the end of the month!
