We are thrilled to announce that Following My Dream Shop is once again a Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint retailer! 💙

While I stepped away from retailing Dixie Belle when we moved from Carlisle, I never stopped using these amazing products in my furniture makeovers and creative projects. Now that we’re settled into our new space, I’m excited to bring them back to the shop!

🎨✨ From Old to Extraordinary ✨🎨

It was truly my honor to create this custom painted rocking chair for a very special college graduate as she begins her journey as a teacher. 🍎📚

This piece was extra special to me because it allowed me to get back to one of my very first creative loves—transforming furniture and giving it new life. There is something so rewarding about taking an ordinary piece and turning it into something meaningful that will be treasured for years to come.

And can we talk about those colors?! 😍 This project was so much fun to create using my favorite products from Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint. The beautiful, vibrant colors made this teacher-inspired design come to life perfectly! 🎨🌈

The best part? Knowing this chair will be part of a classroom where young minds will learn, grow, and be encouraged for years to come. What a blessing to play a small part in celebrating a teacher who is dedicating her life to serving others. ❤️

✨ Another Fun Workshop in the Books! ✨

Last night’s Interchangeable Shiplap Workshop was such a great way to wrap up a busy season of creating! 🎨❤️ I loved spending the evening with these amazing ladies as they painted, laughed, and created beautiful projects that they can enjoy all year long.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support my dream and chooses to spend your time creating with me. It truly means more than you know. 💕

Now it’s time for me to take a short break, recharge my batteries, spend some time with family, and seek fresh inspiration. 😊

📅 Workshops will resume on June 9th with our Created to Create Bible Study & Creative Time — a special evening of faith, fellowship, creativity, and encouragement. I am so excited to begin this journey together!

✨ And don’t worry… we have several more fun workshops planned throughout June, including some returning favorites and a few new creative opportunities!

We had an absolute blast creating with these amazing ladies tonight! 💛 From custom porch leaners to beautiful porch sitters, every project turned out so unique and full of personality! We seriously cannot wait to see pictures of everyone’s finished pieces displayed at their homes! 🏡🌿

This group of ladies has been creating with me for YEARS now 💛 They’ve supported me through all THREE shop locations, and honestly… they feel more like family when they walk through the door than customers. 🥹

I’m beyond thankful for each of you and the way you continue to support my dream, my creativity, and my small business. Watching friendships grow while creating beautiful projects together is one of my favorite parts of this journey! 🎨✨

✨ Creative chaos… but to me, it’s beautiful. 🎨💛

This table may look messy to some, but to me it’s a glimpse inside my creative brain. Brushes, paint, ideas, projects, colors, worship music playing in the background… and a heart completely full.

This afternoon as I worked, listened to worship, and created, I was reminded how incredibly blessed I am that God gifted me with the ability and passion to create. From transforming old furniture into something beautiful again to designing workshops and handmade pieces, every brushstroke feels like a connection to the Ultimate Creator. 🙌✨

I truly believe we were all created to create in some way — and for me, this creative chaos brings peace, joy, purpose, and worship all at the same time. 💕

I cannot wait for our Created to Create Bible study and creative time together. I’m so excited to gather with others who want to grow creatively and spiritually while spending intentional time with the Lord.

Thank you, God, for the gift of creativity and the opportunity to use it for Your glory. 💛
