I am loving the mushroom inspired table/task lamps!

This is an artistic way to bring the nature in your home. The design element is called Biophilia - where the interior design incorporates nature and/or natural elements throughout the design template.

The funky, artsy, colorful rounded figures instantly add happiness and transform any area.

I found so many design variations but only added my favorites to this moodboard. They range from super pricey to super affordable.

This is a more accurate depiction of the Fireplace Design.

I removed the mantel, as it did not jive well with me. I truly do not think a mantel is necessary for this design.

I added the existing honey oak built-in bookcase, which is on the left. The right side is blank as that is a hallway leading to the staircase.

The more I play with the two stone options, I am really leaning more towards the Calcatta Cressa 3D Honed Marble Rockmount because it accentuates the line pattern of the painting, above. It flows from the ground all the way upward to the ceiling.

The option with the Arabescato Carrara Split Face Marble Rockmount feels more of a safer bet, as it is more subtle and smoother. It does not carry the line pattern, since it lacks it. Additionally, it feels a bit more flat.

Fireplace Design Renderings

Two separate options of Stone Rockmount Marble:
1. Arabescato Carrara Split Face Marble
2. Calcatta Cressa 3D Honed Marble

The modern wood mantle comes in Natural Unfinished (as shown), or in Matte Black (image unavailable). I think the Unfinished brings warmth to the entire design.

The client already owns the modern painting, which they wish to keep.

Due to the pattern of the painting, I believe the Arabescato Carrara Split Face Marble Rockmount is the best option. As it does not have the same repetitive lines, instead it has a more blended feel.

The Calcatta Cressa 3D Honed Marble is gorgeous, however the repetitive rectangular boxes in the design seem too busy with painting pattern.

Curated this Modern Turkish Glam Living Room Mood Board

I love bringing in pops of color and layering with different materials.

The Brown Marble Side Table is exquisite with its chunky round tripod design.

The Snow White Sleeper Sofa with its camel leather strap detail is the perfect canvas for color and texture. Add patterned Turkish Silk Pillows + Emerald Crushed Velvet Pillow to jazz up that snow white canvas!

The Hand-knotted rug with its geometric designs inlaid with red-blue-rust color pallette warms up the starky white of the Sleeper Sofa.

The Green Agate Coffee Table ties the footprint perfectly with its three angled wood legs.

Accented with The Rattan Bench bringing in the rich black + The Camel Boucle Lounge Chair with its perfectly organic round shape.

Throw in The Grey Marble Console Table + The Burled Wood Pedestal tables + The Floor Lamp with its organic tall round base + The Bone-in-lay Floor Mirror to add depth to the entire room.

The Sun House upstairs shared bathroom was a huge transformation - converted this dated '90s bathroom with a single vanity to a double vanity. Converted the tub shower to a gorgeous walk-in shower with a bench. Gave the shower floor some love too with the hexagon mosaic tile. Raised the beautiful large scale sky blue subway tiles all the way to the ceiling to accentuate its height.

Love the gorgeous gold oblong mirrors from Pulled in some more gold with those gorgeous gold and bone enamel hardware from All tied in with the beautiful accessories. I am never afraid of mixing metals! The faucet fixtures are all brushed nickel

Designing on a very tight budget has so many limitations to design due to the lack of funds. I would like to pat myself on the back for doing a phenomenal transformation with a very tiny budget. Yes, the client and I had to give up tiling the walls and brass fixtures to give it that extra pizzaz. But in the end the client was very happy with the outcome.

The grandeur, the majesty, the ornately gold-dipped designs of this masterpiece transform the large, blank canvas of a wall.

The warmth of the olive tree, the curvatures of the dining table's wood-spindle leg, with the lived in feeling of the cat's domain - are the details that metamorphosed this particular junction of The Flat on Warren

Eid-Al-Adha Mubarak!!!

Let's bring some color & joy in our lives!

I am eternally grateful to Allah for bestowing this wonderful life filled with opportunities and growth. It's upon myself to stretch them with heart work, mind work, and hard work. Even though I continue to go through tough times, I can see the light at the other end!

I just have to continue the course and push through the tribulations - Have faith in my abilities and in God!

How beautiful is this modern bath with hints of Moroccan Vibes?!

The free standing tubs are so on trend, beating out the revered claw foot tub. What I love about the free standing tubs is how much they open up the space.

Let's also talk about chandeliers in the bathroom. This is such an elevated design element. It gives that grandeur feel to the space. Don't hesitate to add a chandelier in a small bath - it will make the space look bigger.

These are 2 major design elements trending for master bathrooms. I can say with certainty that these are not just temporary trends.

When one door closes, another opens! Last September when I was injured at work and as the injury developed into a permanent condition, my world (career + personal life) crumbled... an established career slipping away. The entire scenario has been taxing, to say the least.

During this time of deep fear, God awakened MY DREAM! I said to myself, there is a reason why this is happening, there is a reason why I have been blessed with the freedom of time! This is my chance to transform and make my dream a reality.

The past 6 months I have been investing in my dream to become an Interior Designer. I have always had the talent, the artistic eye/gene and love for design + arts, since childhood. I took this time to educate and invest in my personal growth and confidence. I have read books, done workshops, weekly classes, joined groups, listened to podcasts - all to gain and invest in business acumen but foremost, to rid of the fear of failure. Let's face it, failure is inevitable! One has to embrace it and learn from it! Do not let fear cripple you.
