Color theory, but make it personal. Our team traded fabric swatches for lipstick shades at MYX N Match in the West Village, mixing custom colors from scratch.

Thank you to Pagett Smith of Trio Resources for hosting, and to Alyssa Weiss of Workshop Twenty One for joining us. Finding the perfect shade is a familiar challenge for a room full of designers, and it was fun to take that eye for color somewhere new.

Hale Hōkūala Kauaʻi is open.

Curio Collection by Hilton's first resort in Hawaiʻi sits above Nāwiliwili Bay and Kalapakī Beach, with views to the Pacific and Hāʻupu Mountain. 210 rooms, 23 of them suites, with floor-to-ceiling windows and private lānai.

It was an honor to work alongside the interiors, working alongside architects Hart Howerton and AHL to design the interiors and we're excited that the property is now open to the public.

Congratulations to the Hilton and Hōkūala teams on the opening!

Hale Hōkūala Kauaʻi has opened as part of Hilton's Curio Collection, marking the brand's entry into Kauaʻi and expanding Hilton's portfolio of independent upscale resorts in Hawaii.

It was a candid conversation about collaboration, the realities of the design process, and the lessons learned along the way. Proud to see Josh bring our studio’s perspective to the table.

Cincinnati was once known as the Paris of America, so it's an honor to have La Revue des Hôtels, "France's leading hotel influencer," cover the opening of the LA-designed Cincinnati's Fidelity Hotel.

The restoration brought back the vaulted lobby, the four-story light court, and the original grand staircase. Our interiors build on that foundation with scenic wallpapers, a collection of local art, and a mix of vintage and contemporary pieces across 165 rooms, 17 suites, two dining rooms, and the Vanderbilt Ballroom.

We're grateful to our partners at New Waterloo and NuovoRE for trusting us with a building of this significance.

The Fidelity Hotel opened on 28 July 2026 in Cincinnati’s Gwynne Building: 165 rooms, 17 suites and an $81 million conversion.

The man, the myth, the hard hat.

While the Dallas studio was celebrating College Game Day, our founder Jim Looney was repping his alma mater on site at JW Marriott Detroit Water Square, ahead of its February 2027 opening. Hands on from start to finish, and the finish line is close!

Cleveland's Fidelity Hotel has been awarded a Michelin Key, and we are honored to have played a role in bringing this space to life.

Our Chicago studio spent their Q3 giveback at Humble Design, and it turned out to be one of the more creatively fitting ways we have given back.

The team helped create centerpieces from objects around the warehouse for Humble Design's annual fundraiser, which they turned into a little design competition. Then it was back to work assembling furniture, framing art, and helping create pieces that will eventually find their way into homes for families transitioning out of houselessness.

Four years in and our annual College Game Day just keeps getting better. When the team and our partners show up like this, the rivalries almost don’t even matter … almost. 🏈
