We’re prepared to defend our position that organizing the material library is an extremely educational intern task 🎥📚

Because it’s not just organizing.
It’s hands-on exposure to the materials we specify every day. Interns learn finish types, understand how materials differ, discover new products, get familiar with vendors, and start building a mental library of what’s available and where it can be used.

Tile, stone, wood, carpet, wallcovering, fabric, hardware… you name it.

So yes, they’re putting samples back on a shelf. But they’re also learning the building blocks of interior design along the way.

And we will be presenting this evidence to the jury 😂
