In loving memory of Jere Ward (1939-2026). Jere opened the first Baskin-Robbins store in South Salem in 1967. He dedicated a large part of his life to umpiring Little League, high school and college softball and baseball games. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with family. He was an instrumental part of starting sporting collectibles by Ward's Auctions, one of the largest Hunting and fishing collectibles auctions in the world. He passed away on September 10, 2026. He was greatly loved and will be forever missed. He will forever be remembered for his sense of humor, his jokes, and his infectious laughter. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. He was generous in giving to the very end. He was married to Karen on September 18, 1960. He leaves behind his son Eric, daughter Tiffany and grandchildren Brandon, Brooke, Jordan, Rachel, as well as four great grandchildren. Your memory lives on in all of us. We will love you forever!
