One of the Principals of the company, Marcelo Galusso, is a native of Uruguay South America. He came to this country bringing with him a vast am

ount of experience in the stone industry. His grandfather operated a granite facility, which his father continued, and Marcelo was literally born into a granite family! As a young man, Marcelo learned every aspect of the nature of stone and stone fabrication before moving to North Texas. For nine years, Marceleo was production manager at a well known Dallas fabrication shop, successfully producing millions of dollars of projects every year. A New Company
Marcelo realized his dream when he and Joseph Salinas, a native of Dallas and 12 year veteran in the stone business, formed Active Granite. Worth, heads up the sales department bringing, with him 17 years of working experience all over North Texas in the stone industry. Active Granite is a 12,000 sq ft facility located in the heart of the Dallas granite industry. We are two blocks away from five of the major slab suppliers ( IMC, Levantina, Louisiana Stone, Lackstone, and Expo) containing muli-millions of dollars of the most beautiful stone in the world. Just five minutes away is Dal Tile, ASD and Walker Zanger, with Arizona Tile just a short fifteen minute drive. Our customers can pick out their slabs, then stop at our shop and pick out a remnant if needed and be finished with their selections all within minutes of each other. Professional Organizations
Active Granite is a proud member in good standing with the newly formed North Texas Stone Fabricators Association, and with the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). These two organizations stand for quality, ethics, and professional service to its customers. Not every company meets the requirements and qualifications. Before you decide on your stone fabricator, check and see if they are members of quality associations.
