I had a wonderful weekend in NYC a couple of weeks ago, and was lucky enough to visit the Kips Bay Decorator Show House. I’m sharing photos of some of the beautiful details from my visit to the house- it is truly amazing to see what all of these creative designers can execute in a couple of months.
I also included a few other tidbits of my visit, including my first time walking the Brooklyn Bridge❤️

Nothing like a little visual texture to transform your room ✨

The client wanted this dining room to feel refined without feeling overly formal. We layered warm wood tones, woven cane, tailored upholstery, and collected pieces to create a sense of ease. The hand knotted rug grounds this area as it floats between the living room and kitchen.

And at the center of it all, a generously sized table with plenty of room for family dinners, and celebrations.
