Ingredients:
4 large firm tomatoes
1 can tuna in water, drained (about 140 g)
150 g Boursin Garlic and Fine Herbs cheese
1 tablespoon thick cream
1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
A few fresh parsley leaves
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
For Garnish:
A few lettuce leaves
Fresh chives or basil
A drizzle of olive oil (optional)
Directions:
Wash the tomatoes thoroughly under cold water.
Cut the tops off each tomato and set them aside.
Using a small spoon, carefully scoop out the inside of each tomato without piercing the outer walls.
Lightly season the inside of the tomatoes with a small amount of salt.
Place the hollowed tomatoes upside down on paper towels and allow them to drain for 10 minutes to remove excess moisture.
While the tomatoes are draining, prepare the filling.
Place the drained tuna into a mixing bowl and flake it with a fork.
Add the Boursin Garlic and Fine Herbs cheese, thick cream, and chopped chives.
Mix thoroughly until the filling becomes smooth, creamy, and evenly combined.
Add black pepper to taste. Additional salt is usually unnecessary because the Boursin cheese is already well seasoned.
