This is how I block my knitting projects. "Charlotte's Web" was a joint project by Margarita V. and myself, and if I do say so myself, stunning! It was knitted, of course, with my favorite yarn, Koigu KPPM. It is hand dyed in Canada, Merino Wool, and has the squishyest hand you'll ever feel. The sun didn't cooperate, but further enhanced by Arya, Alisha, and Love Boy Smokey.

My dear Smokey, a/k/a Mr. Handsome, Smokester, Smokestack, Okey Dokey Smokey, Pokey, My Buddy, Love Boy has been diagnosed with Squeamus Carcinoma. He has a large lump under his left ear, which is also affecting his hearing. Surgery may not be an option because of a possible autoimmune condition called Pemphigus. We will meet with his doctor in a couple weeks to discuss other options. My heart is breaking.

My latest passion project, a kit direct from County Cork in Ireland, the Flower Scarf. It is made with Zauberball Starke 6, garter stitch and German Short Rows. The yarn possesses short color bursts that produce the beauty of the petals as do the wedges. I am in love! This is one pattern repeat. I have to knit 4 1/2 more. It will be my pleasure!

My latest passion project, a kit direct from Cork County, Ireland, the Flowery Scarf. It's knit with Zauberball Starke 6 and it explodes with short bursts of color. This is one pattern repeat which I have to duplicate 4 1/2 more times. It is basic garter stitch with German Short Rows. You can do it too!
