With heavy hearts, but also with gratitude and hope for what lies ahead Pam and I have some bittersweet news to share. After much thought and many heartfelt conversations we have made the difficult decision to close the doors of Mountain Laurel Floral Designs on September 26, 2026.
This is not an easy announcement for either of us. Mountain Laurel has been such a meaningful part of our lives and becoming a part of the Danielson community has been nothing but short of amazing what started as a dream became a beautiful chapter filled with flowers friendship, celebration, creativity, and so many wonderful people who supported us along the way.
We are forever grateful for every order every visit every conversation and every person who believed in our little shop, you gave Mountain Laurel a life and heart that we could not have created on our own. 💚
But sometimes chapters come to an end so that something new can begin.
We are especially happy to share that the new chapter for our storefront will be with Kat the new owner of Lilium Florist. Over this past year we have had the pleasure of getting to know Kat and we couldn’t be more excited to pass the space along to her. We know she will bring her own creativity, passion, and heart to the space and we can’t wait to watch Lilium Florist flourish in Danielson.
As for me and Pam, we are leaving Mountain Laurel with very bittersweet feelings, but also excited for what lies ahead. We are not walking away from flowers; we’re simply finding new ways to pour our passion into them!
🍀 Pam will continue growing in nurturing Harmony Gardens
🍀 I will continue tending to Gabby Benson - Flower Farmer RI and hosting workshops in new and familiar places.
Together, we’re looking forward to traveling exploring learning and broadening our horizons. We are parting from Mountain Laurel not because of failure, but because it is time to honor our health, nourish our souls and be more present for the people we love most.
This isn’t goodbye; it’s see you soon just in a different way.
Please follow along with our farms for locally grown flowers, workshops, and all the ways we hope to stay connected to the Danielsson community!
