It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Currans Flowers owner, Paul R. Danehy Sr. For more than five decades, Paul’s innovation and passion for the floral industry helped build our flower shop and greenhouses into a beloved and respected part of the North Shore community. While he stepped back from daily operations in recent years, he still visited the shop alongside his faithful canine companion, Monty, offering a smile, a story, or a kind word for our dedicated staff and loyal customers. We are grateful for the many years we shared under his leadership and will continue to honor his passion for excellence.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Paul’s life at a reception at Currans Flowers at 15 Park St. in Danvers, on Sunday, June 14th, from 1 pm to 4 pm. At Paul’s request — “it should be a party” — we invite everyone to wear colorful or tropical clothing if you are able.
