Our 16,000 sq ft building hosts Threads of Time Creative Sewing, a premier store in the Midwest. Threads of Time offers a full line of Brother, Baby Lock and Janome sewing and embroidery machines, thousands of bolts of fabric, a spacious showroom with artful displays and an expert staff who provide personal attention. We are also a retreat center where sewists and quilters can come, stay overnight

and sew in the company of friends. We can accommodate 46 sewists & quilters daily, and 36 retreaters for overnight stays. We’re proud of the dynamic, creative community we serve and hope to offer a place of inspiration and encouragement to all who enter our doors.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of our dear friend, fellow quilter, and beloved member of the Threads of Time family, Linda Winger.
Linda was an incredibly generous lady whose passion for sewing was matched only by her dedication to our local Veterans. She spent countless hours creating items for our service members, famously keeping handmade mug rugs on hand to distribute to Veterans and their families wherever she went.
To know Linda was to love her. She truly never met a stranger, and she had an unmatched gift for bringing laughter into the room. None of us will ever understand how she managed to remember so many jokes, but we will deeply miss the joy and humor she brought to our sewing community.
She was a pillar of the Threads of Time community, and her absence will be felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Please keep Linda’s family and friends in your thoughts. Rest in peace, Linda. 🧵
