Happy 25th birthday to Olivia!

Every office needs a 20-something to keep the 40 year olds informed. Olivia shows us how to use TikTok, what we should actually ask ChatGPT, and, most importantly, where we should order lunch every day.

We love your ideas, your humor, and having you on the KGD team. Happy birthday, Olivia! 🤍

I love how the hand drawn look takes me back to the early phase of a project, when the design is still mostly in my mind. I can see where it’s going, where the client wants it to go, and how to bring those two things together to make their dream happen.

Four years of Lindsey at KGD. 🤍

She’s been here through multiple version of this business: working out of my basement, sitting in my bed with me going through the to do list when I broke my ankle, and holding everything together when my dad got sick.

I don’t know how to put into a caption what that kind of loyalty means to me. Lindsey has grown with KGD, cared for our clients, and shown up for me during one of the hardest seasons of my life. I’m so grateful she’s here.

The amazing took photo #1 and #2 awhile back and Lindsey and I have shared many laughs about #2 because neither of us EVER wear blazers and we aren't sure why we both thought that was a good idea that day. Photo #3 thru #5 are what happens when you let Lindsey play with ChatGPT.

Happy four years, Lindsey. I couldn’t imagine KGD without you.

This might be the nicest review we’ve ever received. I’ve read it more times than I care to admit. 🤍

Lindsey and Olivia knocked this one out of the park. I’m so proud of the care they have put into this project, and hearing that our client felt it too means everything.

Thank you for trusting our team with your home and for taking the time to write such kind words. We’ll be talking about this one for a while.

A 3D sketch like this lets us test the whole kitchen before demo even starts. We can see where the island sits, how tall the cabinets feel, whether the finishes actually work together. It's so much easier for clients to picture the space (and feel confident in decisions) when they can see it in 3D, versus imagining it from a flat floor plan.

BEHIND THE BUILD | Part Three

FRAMING “Okay… I’m starting to actually SEE it!”

Framing is where the drawings finally start coming to life. Walls go up, openings shift, ceiling details take shape, and the layout that once only existed on paper suddenly feels real.

Framing is always one of the most exciting milestones because after months of planning, you can finally walk through the space and understand how everything is going to function and flow.

This little corner of the kitchen might be our favorite part of the whole project.
