Hello Everybody! Working through this heat and thinking about Fall already. We just restocked our Stockins Honey inventory and have their new flavored honeys. Vixen"s Bakery, Mama April's Sweet Bits and Bayou to the Bay pretzels are all restocked. Cold cane sugar Coke, Boynton root beer, orange and ginger ale, Frosty root beer are all available to quench your thirst on these hot days. Kate stopped by and restocked our freezer with more delicious Broom's Bloom ice cream. More antiques have been added too! Please stop by and see us at 2101 Shuresville Rd in Darlington. Hello Everybody! We hope everyone is having a pleasant summer. Our little town of Darlington celebrates the 4th of July holiday a week earlier then most so our Celebration parade and fireworks display will be this Saturday, June 27th starting at 5pm. Thus, the General Store will be closing at 4pm that day. We will be open Friday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. You can reach us at 410-453-2127. Our Churchville store will remain open until it's normal closing time of 5pm. Have a great 4th of July holiday and we look forward to seeing you all real soon. Thank you.

Hello everybody! Mother's Day is this Sunday May 10th. We may have just the gift for Mom! Our gift baskets are made up and ready to go. Created with either an original Amish or Longaberger basket with soaps, lotions, jellies, honey or tea from our local stock. Save 10% or more when you buy the basket with all the goodies. Good day everyone! We hope you all are enjoying this beautiful Spring weather. Stop by this weekend and try our fresh sourdough bread and delicious cakes, all made locally and delivered fresh every Friday, We just got more Brooms Bloom ice cream and several pork loins and pork butts in addition to Brooms Bloom bacon, sausage and pork chops, In addition we have more antiques in the back room that came in this past week.
