September…..🍂 In my mind there is no more beautiful month.

The late afternoon light is beautiful. It’s still summer. My gardens still look beautiful, but I sense the changes to come. And this Edwardian card captures the season perfectly.

Well! Don’t I sound poetic! 😊 This happens when I’ve spent the day prepping inventory for Love That Antiques and Vintage! Friday is a full work day at Gathered Goods QC mall. I’m excited because The Kitchen Booth is going to get a makeover. The works! 💋💄 And since the booth is celebrating its first anniversary at Gathered Goods, it has a special place in my heart. ❤️

I don’t always remember at my age what I wore the day before, but I still remember moving in day and creating the booth in the following days. It was a labor of love!

There’s always an odd little shaker for sale on a shelf when you’re out antiquing, and now it doesn’t need to be lonely anymore! ❤️

Fill a collection of shakers with glitter from The Big Box Store, and you have the cutest look. I’m thinking this would be a fun project for the teenaged girls in the family. And a great way to introduce them to antiques! ❤️

So while you’re shopping for shakers and glitter, I’m at home today doing “chores” first so I can work on inventory for Love That Antiques and Vintage later in the day. Tomorrow I’ll be at Gathered Goods QC Fluffing and Stuffing The Kitchen Booth. I’m soooo happy the mall is air conditioned! ❤️

One year has passed quickly, since Love That Antiques and Vintage opened its first booth at Gathered Goods QC mall. Happy Anniversary! 🥳

Here I am on Day One with my moving crew, Carlos and Fernando. They made it easy! 😊

I’m headed to Gathered Goods today for a bit of Fluffing and back again on Friday to give this booth, The Kitchen Booth, a Reset. “Resetting” is antique dealers’ talk for adding a lot of inventory and moving everything around! 🫪

Happy September 🍂 and Happy Anniversary to Love That Antiques and Vintage at Gathered Goods QC mall! 🥳

My first booth at Gathered Goods opened for business one year ago…..in the new addition!!! 💃🏻 I started out with a mix of inventory including primitives, farm house, kitchen items, Victorian, and shabby chic. Today this booth is called The Kitchen Booth. It features antique and vintage kitchen items from 1900’s jelly jars to MCM juice glasses.

One year down and many more to come! 🙏

I don’t know, but remember how I’m always telling you to “go antiquing”? Well, I finally did this past weekend and actually bought something for myself. And that never happens! 😹

Yesterday I danced the Fluff and Stuff Shuffle there all afternoon while the booth was restocked and reset. Stop by and see the results! 😊

Friday is restocking day at Love That Antiques and Vintage! 💃🏻 Booth #4, The Big Booth in the New Addition, is on my mind. 🙆🏻‍♀️

The car is almost loaded! 🚗 But there’s still room for more. There’s always room for more! Market baskets, Shawnee pottery, vintage children’s books, Polish folk art carvings, flower frogs, brass, stoneware…..and some surprises!

I’ll see you today, I hope, at Gathered Goods QC mall, 4020 Brady Street, Davenport IA. Mall hours are Wednesday through Sunday 10-5 pm. My ETA is high noon! ⏰
