I feel incredibly lucky and grateful to have had this opportunity to travel to Norway and cannot thank Stressless (Ekornes) enough…and Knilans’ for sending me. It definitely was the trip of a lifetime. I would highly suggest putting Norway on your travel bucket list… and also putting a Stressless Recliner on your furniture shopping list! 😉 🇳🇴

Highlights from our Ekornes Stressless Factory tour yesterday morning!

“The legendary Stressless® recliner was born on the west coast of Norway, in the small community of Sykkylven, where our main factory still lies. Jens Ekornes founded the company in 1934, after which an unbroken lineage of proud craftsmen have produced some of the world’s finest furniture. In a place where resources were scarce, everything had to be built to last. That philosophy still resides within the factory walls.”

Seeing everything in action and watching production from beginning to end was impressive, as well as learning how Ekornes supports their employees, local community, the environment!
