Couple years ago. I Met my first mariachi
She was a young girl. Maybe. 16-18.
She was so lovely. Allowed a photo.
Living here opens your eyes to things one does not see in the midwest.

One must always open one’s heart. Ears. Eyes. To others. We “ain’t” all the same. We have all come from different paths

This was completed a few years back.
Came to us in pieces and in boxes.
We made a lot of the missing parts.

(It was a crazy piece to do!!)

We get a lot of furniture flying thru the shop. 🙂 Some by good makers some not soo.. It doesn’t really matter. It’s all furniture in the end.
But! when you get a good English Regency piece in the shop and get to see their work 200 years ago. it’s a rare treat and privilege to conserve their work and history.. Especially here in the desert.. :))

We are used to picking up in high rise buildings in downtown Chicago. Today is our first downtown high rise in Tucson.

Parking is awesome !! Right at the front door to the building. Parked at 8am— back on the “210” /aviation highway - all done - in less than 45 minutes. And back at workshop in 21 minutes and only 11 miles.
Gotta love living in Tucson !! ((Ssshhh yes. It was 110-111 today

We went to MOCA gala last night.

Supporting the ARTS - 100% of funding for MOCA is donations. (No federal funding)

Museum of Contemporary Arts — is all about supporting LIVING Artists.
