Texture is one of the biggest wedding flower trends we’re seeing right now—and it’s we love it because it’s always been one of our favorite ways to create unforgettable floral designs.

For this wedding, we incorporated textural grasses throughout the florals to add movement, softness, and an organic, beach-inspired feel. Instead of relying on color alone, the different textures gave every arrangement more depth and made the entire design feel elevated and intentional.

The secret to a beautifully themed wedding?

Don’t decorate with the theme. Design from the story.

For this editorial inspired by The Wizard of Oz and Wicked, we didn’t fill the space with obvious movie props. Instead, we pulled inspiration from the details that make the story unforgettable.

✨ A brodal basket wrapped in the same blue gingham as Dorothy’s dress.
✨ Guest tables laid out to subtly echo the Yellow Brick Road and accents that act as easter eggs to the films.
✨ A ceremony framed by a sea of romantic poppies, among other colorful blooms.
✨ And the entire design built around one iconic moment—the world transforming from black and white into breathtaking color.

Even the wind got into it, giving the gorgeous cake its own defying gravity tablecloth moment.

The result feels sophisticated, immersive, and full of meaning rather than themed in the traditional sense.

The most memorable weddings don’t tell guests what the theme is—they invite them to experience it.
