Is this even the same house? 🤯 These before and after photos really put into perspective how different this home looks now! Some of the really cool things that were added:

- a floor to ceiling stone fireplace and custom mantle (the stone was found covered up by the drywall)

- closing off the front sitting area to make a separate office with pocket doors so the sunlight can still come through the home

- adding a pantry where the walkway was in the kitchen and added a new hallway for the laundry/half bath access

- obviously a whole new kitchen with a large island instead of the old, closed off peninsula

- added a large primary bedroom closet

Progress Update ✨ My clients just bought this new construction home and knew they wanted to add some character to the boring, builder grade walls. Soft blues and neutrals with a bit of a coastal touch was the goal, and we just KNEW this Loomwell Removable Wallpaper Taddy Mikelaites | Artist wallpaper mural had to make it onto the walls somewhere!

I know color drenching is such a trend right now, but when you have a fully open concept home, sometimes a well done accent wall is the best way to add that color and texture to each room. I love how now each room has its own look but everything is cohesive as one open space!

Don’t be afraid to buy the ugly house!! 📣 You know the one: the house that needs paint, flooring, updated kitchen and bathrooms, weird faux mural in the dining room….BUT the one in that really good neighborhood, with an amazing floor plan, near your best friend’s house and has all the space you could imagine!
