Ever wonder what your candles look like before they’re ready to fill your home with all that cozy goodness? 🤍
This is the curing stage — and while it may look like these candles are just sitting around, something important is happening!
After I melt the soy wax, carefully measure and mix in the fragrance, and hand-pour each candle, they need time to cool, set, and cure. During the curing process, the fragrance oil fully binds with the soy wax, which helps give you a stronger, more consistent scent when you finally light it. 🔥✨
Making candles is definitely more than just melting wax and pouring it into a jar. Every candle is made in small batches, poured by hand, and given the time it needs before it ever makes its way to you.
And yes… the hardest part is having a whole room full of AMAZING smelling candles and knowing they’re not ready yet! 😂
