I arted. Sometimes it's the only cure when I feel like crap.

I've got some ideas for the lantern. Maybe a hanging version. Larger hole in the top so it's less of a mood piece.

Had this wood lantern idea kicking around for the last couple of months. Had to get making. Its s bit rough without plans in the hand. It turned out pretty well considering.

3 cups flour
1 tablespoon honey
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/4 cups water (warm. Less than 80°F)
3/4 cup of active sourdough starter

Let proof for 12 to 24 hours.

Score the top to vent

Bake at 450° for 20-30min (or until the top splits like the pic and the edges start to brown)

Let cool for 1 hour before indulging.
