Good morning my crafty friends.
It's been quite a while hasn't it!
It's been a bit quiet over here too.
As I have shared with many of you, my desire, when I closed the store, was to slow down and enjoy the slower pace of life, to spend more time with family and friends and to do some crafting. I have been very blessed to have had this opportunity. As much as I enjoy this lifestyle, I have to admit that I miss the store. It was a beautiful place of joy. I also miss the friends and fellowship that a store front provided. When I closed the store I wasn't sure how it all would turn out. But, I did manage to find a niche with vending at local crops. However, Heart Sisters was shut down in January and no longer is in business. Sales had been declining over the past year, which is understandable with everything going on in our world, and with me not being front and center, pushing ahead with this business. Lets just say I have been enjoying life!
Jane Alft with Making Memories Collective is now offering some awesome crops. Her first crop this past month was a huge success. Jane has offered to have me vend at her crops, which I am planning to do for now. I will also be vending at J & C Crops when they have them at the Lenexa location. As I stated, sales are down and I need to figure out what I need to do. I cannot continue to buy product, just to reduce it a couple months later - as that makes no sense . I enjoy vending as it gives me the opportunity to craft with friends and make a little money at the same time.
So, for now and the next few months, I will be vending at both J & C Crops and Making Memories Collective as I decide where life takes me.
Tomorrow, Saturday March 28th I will be set up at the J&C crop located at the VFW 9550 Pflumm Rd in Lenexa. I will be there from 10 to 5. Feel free to come out and shop. I will have most of the product discounted (excluding the new product)
I will be set up for the next Making Memories (Crops & Chaos) crop April 10th, 11th & 12th. I will be there Friday at 3 pm, all day Saturday and Sunday morning. This crop will be held at the Margaritaville Hotel located in Kansas City KS near the Legends.
The next crop will be with Making Memories Collective in May 1st, 2nd and 3rd for National Scrapbooking month. This crop will be back at the Hampton Inn in Gardner KS.
Thank you to all those who continue to support me while I transition to a full time retirement. I truly appreciate your business.
