Lay the ham slices on a flat surface, pat dry with paper towels, and spread with cream cheese. Place one green onion or chive in each ham slice. Roll the ham slices tightly. Cut into bite sized pieces and serve.

4 cups reduced-sodium mushroom, chicken, or vegetable broth
3 cloves garlic minced
2 teaspoons peeled grated fresh ginger root grated (powdered, 1 teaspoon)
1 tablespoon soy sauce or coconut aminos
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
12 oz sh*take mushrooms sliced
Red pepper flakes to taste
9 ounces ramen noodles, about 3 packages if using top

CALIFORNIA ROLL IN A BOWL
Ingredients:
• prepared rice
• 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
• 1 large avocado, diced
• 8 ounces imitation crab, diced
• 1 cup English cucumber, diced

Easy Frozen margs
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
-2 Tbsp maple syrup
-1/4 cup tequila (1/4 cup = 2 ounces)
-1/4 cup lime juice

Leave out tequila for a family friendly version. The kids enjoy adding whipped cream and lime Zest to theirs.

SLOW COOKER PORK CARNITAS

INGREDIENTS

Seasoning
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons salt, or more, to taste
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 packet truelime salt or lime juice

4 pound pork shoulder, fat trimmed
4 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
2 onions, quartered
½ cup freshly squeezed orange juice
¼ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
Zest from a lime, and orange
Add fruit from fresh squeezed fruit to the crockpot

In a small bowl, combine chili powder, cumin, oregano, lime salt, salt and pepper. Season pork shoulder with spice mixture, rubbing in thoroughly on all sides.
Place garlic, onions, orange juice, lime juice, fruit and seasoned pork shoulder into a 6-qt slow cooker. Cover and cook on low heat for 8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.

Remove the pork shoulder from the slow cooker and shred the meat before returning to the pot with the juices; season with salt and pepper, to taste, if needed.

If you prefer crispy edges on carnitas, place the pork onto a baking sheet and broil until crisp and crusted, about 3-4 minutes.

Serve on crispy corn tostadas, in a bowl with rice and beans, or on your favorite tortillas.

Ingredients
1 piece Josephs Flax, Oat Bran & Whole Wheat Square Lavash
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
salt and pepper or everything seasoning

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°. Take out one sheet of the lavash, brush or drizzle with olive oil on both sides. Use pizza cutter to slice it into cracker size squares.
In a bowl add preferred seasoning. Mix well to evenly coat all the chips.
Place the chips on a baking tray lined with parchment paper making sure they are not overlapping. Bake for 5-7 minutes. Keep an eye the last minute or so to prevent burning.

If you enjoy the original seasoning try a sweet one like monkfruit and cinnamon or honey.

1 tsp mustard (I prefer Dijon)
I cup oil (canola or vegetable)
