How cool is this?!? 😍

Today we unveiled our new handpainted mural on the outer wall of the Local History Room! Designed and painted by local artist Shannon Cook, this mural showcases the library's historical significance in Decatur and captures generations of stories told within these walls. This project was made possible through generous support from the Illinois Arts Council and the America's 250th Anniversary Public Art Grant - 2026.

The last week I’ve had a big influx of people coming into the store, and someone’s told them I buy crystals. I do not. I will not. Please stop sending people into the shop for this reasoning!
I’m very particular about how and where I get my stones. I never want to have any unethical energy in my shop. 🥺🫶🏻 thank you for understanding! We will do another trade in day (where you receive a giftcard, NO CASH for inventory) but that’s the BEST I can do. And even then, I’ll refuse stuff if it’s got funky energy, smells weird, covered in dust, etc. thanks for understanding!!
