414 Antiques hit the road! 🚙🤍
After a multi-day buying trip through eastern Alabama and northern Georgia, I came home with an incredible haul! I visited 16 antique and thrift stores, found some amazing pieces, and made several great contacts for future sourcing trips.
My top three stops for quality finds and outstanding selection were:
🤍 Daves Antiques
🤍 Ringgold Feed & Seed Antiques
🤍 Somewhere In Time Antiques & Collectibles
Not only were the finds incredible, but the people behind these businesses were the true highlight. Their kindness, generosity, and genuine Southern hospitality made every stop memorable. I can't wait to go back.
One of the most meaningful moments of the trip, though, was visiting House of Hannah at Sweet Maple Vintage•Gifts•Home Decor. It was such a gift to see her beautiful space and spend a few quiet moments praying over her, her business, and every customer who walks through her booths.
There is something incredibly special about finding fellow business owners who love Jesus, cheer one another on, and genuinely want to see others succeed. God is moving through this little antique adventure in ways I never imagined, and I'm so grateful for the people He's placing along the journey.
If you're a small business owner trying to balance another full-time job, marriage, parenthood, friendships, and all the responsibilities that come with life, my encouragement is this: Find your people.
Yes, learn from others. Be inspired. Share decorating ideas, sourcing tips, and creative inspiration. But even more than that, find a community that will encourage you, celebrate your wins, pray for you through the hard days, and remind you that you don't have to build your dream alone.
Thank you to everyone who made this trip so special. I can't wait to share all the treasures that are headed to 414 Antiques!
