My Tuesday Downtown PDX crew got their subscriptions today!
Our lovely building front desk folks always let me leave them downstairs for easy pick up, and in exchange, I give them one to keep at the desk 💕

It’s been such a busy couple of weeks, and I hadn’t prepped any posts, but ya girl is trying! 💕

Grow the things! Water!
Work and regular life but boom - now you got thrips
Tend and w**d tend and w**d
Hurry deadhead

And now I’m finally putting my head back into the content I keep trying to remember to capture! 😅

The best part - I truly do love it with all my heart.
As tired as I am, it still brings me so much joy and honestly is my favorite way to start and end the day & all the things in between 🤩🌸

Gonna keep on pushing through!

It’s true ✨ We love a summah 🌸
By we - I mean me & the zinnias & all my heat loving little babies!

These are the first to pop out at the deer island farm & while they are still a bit short - we cut deep and can’t wait for them to go big and strong!

If this is the beauty they are creating when they are small - I can only imagine how stunning they’ll be in a month from now! 💕

Varieties here:

- Floret Victorian Wedding

And maybe like one more? These were harvested right before we left after a long full day working & let’s be honest, I didn’t dig and check all the tags - I was too excited to cut these lil friends 🌱🌸

And don’t come at me for my love for bravo - it’s my one guilty pleasure 🥹😂

I just love that feeling when you finally find your groove!

The 2nd bouquets for my amazing CSA flower subscriptions went out this week! 💐

Each week I find myself saying “this is my new favorite arrangement I’ve made” 🤩😂 and every week I feel I up myself - which who doesn’t love a little self-competition!

Also loving that these CSA subscriptions are forcing me to practice, practice & more practice with arranging flowers and I feel I’ve come such a long way since I first started, and I know it’s only going to get better from here! 💐✨

Ingredients:
- peonies I saved wrapped in the fridge
- rosy checkermallow
- champagne bubbles poppies
- forsythia foliage
- silene blushing lanterns
- summer pastels yarrow
- latavara
- hydrangeas
- guem (2 varieties)
- foxglove
- silver dollar eucalyptus
- veronica

More ingredients than I normally use, but after the recent heat wave you gotta use what’s in the best shape! 🥵🌸💕

My therapy is being in the garden & I couldn’t feel more grounded than when I’m out planting or tending to the farm.

The repetition feels like meditation and a dream all at once knowing if they are tended to will turn into a sea of beauty and flowers in just a few short weeks & then the season will eventually fly by.

I love getting lost in these tasks - it’s safe to say I’m happily rooted.
