DOES A HIGHER KELVIN NUMBER MEAN MORE LIGHT?
No.
Kelvin (K) tells you the color appearance of the light — not how much light it produces.
🟡 Lower Kelvin → warmer/yellower light
⚪ Mid-range Kelvin → more neutral white
🔵 Higher Kelvin → cooler white appearance
Brightness is measured using other metrics, such as lumens.
So when comparing lights, don’t look at Kelvin alone.
Different numbers. Different meanings.
