Trying acrylic markers for the first time! 🎨🐟

I recently picked up some acrylic markers and decided to experiment with them by drawing a colorful fish. I usually work in watercolor, so this was a fun change of pace—and definitely a learning experience!

This little video condenses more than an hour of drawing, layering colors, adding details, and figuring out how these markers work.

I really enjoyed seeing this fish come together. 💙

Now I'm wondering… what should I try drawing next with these markers?

I'm excited to finally share something I've been hinting at...

🌿 **Notes from Nature** is my new monthly snail mail club—a little envelope of nature, creativity, and wonder delivered to your mailbox.

Each month, I'll be sending a carefully curated collection of handmade and nature-inspired treasures. You might find original artwork, stickers, botanical creations, seasonal inspiration, little keepsakes, and other surprises designed to help you slow down and reconnect with the natural world.

In a world of endless scrolling, I wanted to create something tangible—something you can hold in your hands and look forward to opening each month.

If you know someone who loves nature, gardening, journaling, art, cozy hobbies, or simply receiving happy mail, would you share this post with them? Your shares mean so much to a small creator like me and help this little idea reach the people who would love it most. 💚

Thank you for supporting my work and for being part of this journey. I can't wait to start sending these little pieces of nature your way!

Tiny botanical prints, made with a gel plate. 🌿💙

I’ve been experimenting with creating **faux cyanotypes using a gel printing plate**, and I love how these little prints capture the shapes, textures, and delicate details of plants in such a simple way.

The process is sped up, but I slowed things down at the end so you can take a closer look at these miniature botanical prints. ✨

It’s always a little magical to see what appears when you lift the print from the plate.

Would you hang one of these tiny cyanotypes in your home—or make a whole collection? 🌿

A little behind-the-scenes look at how I package a piece of art before it makes its way to its new home. 🌿📦

If you order from me, your package might not look like the perfectly polished packaging you’re used to—and that’s intentional. I reuse paper, bubble mailers, boxes, and other materials whenever I can.

Nature inspires so much of what I create, so I want that care to extend to how I send my art into the world, too. Giving packaging a second life is one small way I can do that. ♻️

Your home should be more than a place you live—it should be a place that helps you breathe a little deeper.

Surround yourself with pieces that remind you to slow down, notice the beauty around you, and reconnect with nature every day. From original watercolor paintings to handcrafted journals and nature-inspired creations, my hope is that each piece brings a little more peace into your space.

✨ Create a home that feels like your sanctuary.

A little slow-motion snail stamping! 🐌🌿

I carved these two tiny snail stamps this summer, and I finally got around to filming them being printed. I love that moment when you slowly peel the paper away and see what the print looks like.

But now I’m curious…

Which snail do you prefer — #1 or #2? 🐌

And I’ve been thinking about all these little original nature-inspired prints I’ve been making lately…

What if some of them found their way into someone’s mailbox? ✉️🌿

I’m dreaming up something called Notes from Nature—a little nature-inspired mail club with original art and other small surprises.

More on that soon… 💌

What if you could capture the beauty of a botanical cyanotype... without the chemicals? 🌿💙

In this process video, I'm creating a faux botanical cyanotype using a gel printing plate, layering natural leaves and rich blue tones to mimic the timeless look of traditional cyanotype prints. I love experimenting with ways to blend nature and printmaking, and every pull reveals something beautifully unexpected.

Would you try this technique? Let me know in the comments! 💙🌿
