🌿✨ A New Artist at Conrad’s Casita!

We’re so happy to welcome Bianka Santillan and her beautiful artwork to our little Casita! 💛

Bianka is a local artist and muralist who finds inspiration in the beauty of nature. From her studio in rural Del Rio, she brings her love for the natural world into her creations, capturing the little details and beauty that often surround us. 🎨🌿

We’re excited to have a lovely selection of her work in the shop, including art prints, cards, stickers, tote bags, and even a few original pieces!

It’s always a joy to bring something new into the Casita, especially when it’s made by someone right here in our community. We hope her artwork brings a little inspiration and happiness to your homes, just as it has to our shelves.

Next time you visit, take a moment to browse Bianka’s collection. You might just find something special for yourself or a thoughtful gift for someone you love. 💛

Welcome to the Casita, Bianka! ✨

🌿 A little behind the scenes at Conrad’s Casita…

One of the things we really enjoy is picking out the plants we bring into the Casita. We choose plants that catch our eye, ones we get excited about, and honestly, ones we would be happy to take home ourselves. 💚

We always hope that when you walk through our doors, one of them catches your eye the same way it caught ours.

But before those plants ever make it out onto the tables, there’s a lot of care that happens behind the scenes.

We take the time to look each one over, tidy it up, remove any tired or damaged leaves, make sure it’s properly hydrated, and treat it as a preventative measure against pests. Some need a little extra attention or a little more time to settle in before we feel they’re ready.

It may mean a plant doesn’t make it onto the floor right away — and we’re okay with that. We want to feel good about the plants we’re sending home with you. 🪴

It’s a part of Conrad’s Casita that you may not always see, but it’s something we put a lot of care into.

From the moment we pick a plant out to the moment you take it home, we hope you know there was a lot of love and intention in between. 💚🌿

🍂New fall collection of journals is here! 🍂

Fall may still be a little ways away, but we’re already looking forward to everything that comes with it — cooler days, warm drinks, cozy corners, and those slower moments that make the season feel so special. ☕🍁🤎

As we start getting the Casita ready for the season ahead, our new journals felt like the perfect place to begin. 📖✨ There’s something about a fresh journal that makes us want to slow down, put pen to paper, and make a little more time for ourselves.

Whether it becomes a place for your thoughts, plans, memories, sketches, or all the things you’re dreaming about for the months ahead, we hope you find one that feels like it was meant for you. 🍄🤎

And we couldn’t bring in new journals without giving our sticker wall a little refresh too! ✨ Pick your favorites and add a little personality to your new journal.

We may still be waiting for those first cool fall days, but around the Casita, we’re having a little fun getting ready for them. 🍂☕🕯️

✨ One Year of Conrad’s Casita ✨

One year ago, we introduced Conrad’s Casita as a new chapter — a little shop rooted in family, love, creativity, and the legacy my parents started so many years ago.

Today, as we celebrate our first anniversary, we can’t help but look back at everything this little Casita has become. 💛🌿

Over the past year, we’ve met so many wonderful people, welcomed new faces, shared our love of plants and creativity, and watched this space become so much more than just a store.

Conrad’s Casita has become a place where local artists, makers, vendors, and small businesses can share what they create. A place where friendships and collaborations have formed, and where someone can come in looking for a plant or gift and stay for a conversation.

To everyone who has walked through our doors, made a purchase, attended an event, shared a post, told a friend about us, or simply stopped by — thank you. Your support has allowed us to continue something that began with my parents while honoring where it all started.

To the local businesses, artists, makers, and vendors who have worked alongside us — thank you for sharing your talents with us and being part of our Casita. 🌿

Just like we invited you in one year ago, we’d love to invite you back to celebrate ONE YEAR with us! 🎉

Join us Saturday, August 15th from 10 AM–4 PM!

We’ll have local vendors, a DJ, giveaways, complimentary light bites and drinks, plants, shopping, and a chance to celebrate with the community that made our first year possible.

This anniversary isn’t just about Conrad’s Casita turning one — it’s about celebrating all of you who helped make this little Casita what it is today. 💛

☀️ New Summer Hours Starting This Week ☀️

As we head into our first summer as a small business, we're still learning and figuring out what works best for both our family and the shop. We've decided to adjust our hours for the season as we continue to find the right balance and see what works best for everyone.

We wanted to be transparent about the change because we truly value your support. While our hours may look a little different, providing a welcoming space and taking care of our customers remains just as important as ever.

Thank you for your patience, encouragement, and for being part of this journey with us. We're grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and serve this community, and we look forward to seeing you this summer. 🌿💛
