Although I do absolutely love the beach and everything that goes along with that, the origin of the name isn't as whimsical as you might think. As much as I'd like to sound all deep and interesting, the following is actually how it came about. I was with my friend and our two daughters making our way off of the beach when I remarked that I had sand in my "sole" as in my flip flop had mounds of san

d stuck in the bottom of it. Not perhaps how most epiphanies come about, but I liked the sound of it and it does sum up how I feel about the ocean and the beach. So, now you know, glad I could be honest with all you mutual lovers of the beach that have sand in your souls too. Hope to see you drop by sometime.
