I won’t lie - spring is usually where my excitement lies, but this season has come with maaaaany spring struggles (peonies, I’m looking at you)

So, im choosing to look ahead to our summer plans instead!

1000 sunnies went into the ground today, and I started 800 more tonight to bring us some July joy around here 🥰

It feels so good to get plants in the ground, I seriously can’t wait to see what the summer brings this year

Only a few weeks until Flora opens for the season 😄

First, a huge THANK YOU to each of you who showed up and made this our biggest Mother’s Day ever 🥹

We couldn’t believe how many of you came out and got flowers from us this past weekend, and we are so grateful 🩷

Also, the sweet messages about how many of you loved the flowers you received are what keep us going!

It makes all the planning, worrying, growing and arranging 1000% worth it when I hear how happy our flowers make you 🥰

When I look back on these photos that were taken only a year ago, I can’t believe how much has changed in such a short year.

💕Everett is now 20 months old! So crazy how time flies
🐣 Baby #2 is due this August - and it will be a surprise whether it’s a boy or girl!
🌸 We now have a high tunnel to grow more gorgeous spring blooms for you (and I LOVE it!)
💐 Our Flower Club DOUBLED in size this year (woohoo!)
🌸 Flora, our Flower Cottage, is finished and will be open every Saturday starting in June (Stay tuned for the date!)

As I was up late last night making these bouquets for today, I had the baby monitor with me in the barn.

Everett was snuggling his bear in his crib, so sweetly

I won’t lie - I am SO excited to see everyone this morning BUT I also can’t wait to spend the rest of today with him!

Mother’s Day week on a flower farm is as busy as we ever get, so my time with him has been limited this week.

Here’s to all the working moms like me who are trying to balance it all!!
