Wallpaper isn’t one-size-fits-all. ✨

The room, material, pattern, and even the amount of traffic a space gets can all influence which wallcovering we specify.

From subtle texture to statement prints, here are a few things we consider when selecting wallpaper:

• Living spaces: Texture can add depth and warmth without competing with artwork, furniture, or architectural details.
• Powder rooms & bathrooms: A perfect place to go bold! Remember always consider humidity, ventilation, washability, and the manufacturer’s recommended application.
• Smaller spaces: Large-scale patterns can actually make a small room feel more intentional and impactful rather than smaller.
• Utility & functional spaces: Who says they have to be boring? A playful print can turn an overlooked laundry room, mudroom, or storage space into part of the design.
• Neutral spaces: Wallpaper doesn’t have to mean pattern. Tonal and textured wallcoverings can give you the dimension of wallpaper while maintaining a quiet, sophisticated palette.

The prettiest wallpaper isn’t always the right wallpaper. We consider where it’s going, how the space is used, lighting, moisture, durability, and scale before making the final selection; because every wall is an opportunity!

A powder room that’s feeling very moody lately…

The drama comes from the way everything works together. The deep, chocolate-toned wallpaper creates a moody backdrop, while the bold veining in the stone adds movement and dimension. Smoked glass pendants bring in a softer element, and the warm, layered finishes keep the space from feeling too dark.

This powder room is a perfect example of how the right combination of finishes can turn a small space into one of the most memorable rooms in the house.

Stay tuned as we share more of the details that brought Project Hill House to life. ✨
