Today is day 2 of the Go Tell it on the Mountain Gospel Music Festival!

I was running late but had to pull over to take this photo. There was a family who pulled up after me and the little boy jumped out of the car and said “Look mommy! We’re up above the clouds!!!” Yes, little man, we are.

And now, we’re all huddling up out of the rain waiting for it to pass, talking about who is in charge. Praise Him in the Storm!!

Sometimes an event is special because of the people you meet. I showed up to this event a complete mess and almost didn’t set up. And then the other vendors - some I barely know- supported me and got me back together. I set up and started talking to people, talking about pottery, learning about the people in this community. I made some great connections and despite my salty self, I had a darned good evening. I friggin love this place.
