✨ SEPTEMBER BOOK CLUB PICK ✨

This month, Lit & Lounge is heading to the small town of Golden with Theo of Golden by Allen Levi. 📖

When a mysterious elderly man named Theo arrives in town, he discovers a collection of portraits hanging inside a local coffee shop. One by one, he begins purchasing them and returning each portrait to the person pictured—creating unexpected moments of connection along the way.

This is a tender story about seeing and being seen, the quiet power of generosity, and how seemingly small acts of kindness can leave a lasting mark. It feels like the perfect book to ease us into a slower, cozier season. 🍂☕️

1. Joy + Carnelian — Wassail
Orange peel, cinnamon, lemon meet cranberry, red currant, apple cider over red wine and wood. ✨ The scent of a mulled cup passed around the table — warm, spiced, and glowing like carnelian itself.

2. Gather + Garnet — Dark Orchard
Plum, orange, and cherry deepen into violet and cinnamon, settling on cedar and vanilla. A moody, romantic pour for the nights everyone lingers a little longer at the table.

3. Patience + Bloodstone (year-round favorite, back for the season)
Cypress and lemon peel over evergreen and cedar, grounded in fir, amber, and moss. Our earthy anchor — steady, grounding, always in season.

4. Embrace + Moss Agate — Christmas Heath (new!)
Cinnamon, ginger, and orange peel with clove and cypress, resting on pine and fir. Straight from the tree lot to your living room — this one smells like Christmas morning.

5. Peace + Blue Lace Agate — Winter Chalet (new!)
Aldehydic lemon peel and camphor sage, layered with powder, amber, and patchouli. Soft, quiet, and a little elegant — like fresh snow outside a cozy window.

6. Renew + Moonstone — Alchemy (new!)
Eucalyptus, saffron, and peach open into orange blossom and rose, settling into sandalwood, leather, and vanilla. A luminous, transformative blend for new beginnings under a winter moon.

Which one is sounding like a new fav??? 👀

CANDLE MAKING NIGHTS ARE BACK! 🕯️

It’s been a minute, but I’m so excited to bring back one of my favorite ways to gather: Candle Making Nights. 🔥

Come slow down, get creative, and make something that feels completely you.

You’ll get to choose your fragrance, pour your own candle, and spend the evening creating, chatting, laughing, and enjoying a little intentional time away from the usual to-do list.

✨ No candle-making experience needed
✨ Come with friends or make it a date night
✨ Create your own custom scent
✨ Pour a candle to take home + enjoy
✨ Cozy vibes are basically guaranteed

These nights were never just about making a candle. They’re about connection, creativity, and making space for the little things that make life feel good.

And I’ve missed them. 🥹

Candle Making Nights are officially returning to Spark & Stone Co.

Back to school means back to books… for us too. 📚☕️

The backpacks are packed, the school routines are settling back in, and maybe, just maybe, there’s a little more room for slow evenings, a cozy candle, and a book you actually get to finish.

Which feels like the perfect time to start back up book club ❤️

I’m thinking we start reading together again in September: one book, cozy conversations, zero pressure, and a reason to make a little space for ourselves in the middle of everyday life.

And naturally, a candle burning nearby is highly encouraged. 😉

So I need to know…

Who wants to join us for September’s book club? 📖

Drop a 📚 below if you’re interested, and tell me what you’ve been reading lately!
