This is the kind of supper that comes together fast but eats like you planned it.
Tender beef.
Sweet peppers.

🍽 Old-School Pepper Steak
Ingredients
• 1½ lbs sirloin or bottom round steak
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp black pepper
• Vegetable oil
• 1 red bell pepper, sliced
• 1 green bell pepper, sliced
• 1 large onion, sliced
• 5–6 cloves garlic, minced
Sauce
• 1 packet brown gravy mix
• ¼ tsp ground ginger
• ½ tsp black pepper
• 1 cup cold water
• 2 tbsp soy sauce
Directions
1️⃣ Slice steak into thin strips and season with salt and pepper.
2️⃣ Sear beef in batches in hot oil; remove and set aside.
3️⃣ Sauté peppers and onion 3–4 minutes; add garlic.
4️⃣ Stir sauce ingredients together, pour into skillet, and cook until thickened.
5️⃣ Return beef and juices to pan; heat through.
6️⃣ Serve hot over fluffy rice.
