A few markets, one big festival, one workshop, and hopefully at least several opportunities for me to financially justify my coffee addiction. Come say hi, shop weird, and support your local insect woman. 🖤 LOVE YOU MEAN IT!!

🏃‍♂️🌿 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗰𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘆 – 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀!
THIS SATURDAY, March 28th, the McKinney Farmers Market, at Chestnut Square Historic Village, will be open with extended hours from 9 AM – 2 PM as our community hosts the exciting BMW McKinney Historic Half Marathon!

It will be a perfect day to run on over and shop local while enjoying the energy of this great community event.
📍 Things You’ll Want to Know:
🕘 Market Hours: 9 AM – 2 PM

🚗 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴:
The North Parking Lot will be reserved and managed by city staff for MARKET GUESTS ONLY. Remember there is also parking in the Davis On The Square Apartments' parking garage.

🗺 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁:
Please check the access map before heading out. The easiest route appears to stay south of Louisiana Street on HWY 5 (McDonald Street) heading north— it’s a straight shot into the market parking lot.

🧺 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗕𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲:
Be sure to check our social media pages and vendor map leading up to the event to see the list of vendors who will be joining us.

🚩 Marathon ends at 11am, and all roads will be fully reopened, with lots of time to still visit and enjoy the market.

With runners, visitors, and our incredible farmers, ranchers, and makers all coming together, it’s shaping up to be another great day in McKinney history.

The market has been rated the best in TEXAS, and has consistently demonstrated servant leadership for its community and vendors. 🌛 BABE OK WHAT 🌜

I met this absolute baddie at the and she had two stunning silk moths tattooed across her chest, and I just happened to have BOTH of those exact specimens hanging side-by-side on my grid wall.

She’s a silk moth lover through and through:
a Yellow Comet Moth from Madagascar ✨
and our native Luna moth 🌿

Of course she took them home.
Of course the universe aligned.
Of course life is more beautiful now
