We’ve been busy testing emulsions and concoctions for our Anthotype + Chlorophyll Print Workshop with The PETAL Project ! These images were made using only plant based emulsions or leaves! 😎👀 This process requires a lot of sunshine, so don’t miss out on this unique opportunity! ☀️

Meet our new instructor: Makenna Connors

Starting on Ju;ly 16th Makenna will be teaching Neurographic Drawing: Doodle for Your Brain.
Makenna Connors is a recent graduate of Texas Woman’s University and an aspiring
elementary art educator. A Denton native, Makenna values community-driven
art-making and exploring creativity through a variety of mediums, including drawing,
fiber arts, and paper craft. Makenna finds inspiration for her artwork from nature,
family, and the importance of mindfulness.Makenna Connors

It’s official, I have become pinhole obsessed. Every box or container has become a potential camera, I’m scouting out flat surfaces or taping my camera to a tripod, and I’m hunting for deals on larger size photo paper.

If you too would like to join the pinhole obsessed (or just give pinhole photography a go) join us Saturday June 13th from 1pm-4pm. Link to sign up on DMC’s website. Students get to build their own camera, create a negative, develop the negative in the darkroom, and use the enlarger to create a positive image from the negative.

Move over The A Team! Move over The Avengers! There is a new team in town! And while they may not have super powers, they are super good at photography. 🎞️📸
