Denton Glass Company is hiring for a full-time front desk/office assistant. We are a small company that is growing quickly, and we are looking to add to our team. We are seeking a friendly individual with a strong background in customer service who is comfortable moving between several tasks at once and is a team player. Prior glass experience is not required, but we are looking for a self-starter who is a fast learner, organized and possesses strong problem solving skills.

Responsibilities include:
-Answer the phone and respond to
general inquiries for service
-Relay messages to office staff and
technicians
-Schedule measures and installations
-Respond to emails
-Maintain voicemail boxes
-Provide pricing for will call orders and
call customers to arrange pick up
-Maintain company calendar and
corresponding job folders
-Assist walk in customers
-Accept quotes for service
-Process payments
-Experience with Google Calendar

QuickBooks and Microsoft Outlook experience is strongly preferred, but not required.

We are seeking a team player who is accountable, a self-starter and possesses strong problem solving skills. We are looking for someone with experience; HOWEVER, we are willing to train the right person.

The ideal candidate will have experience with or have an interest in learning:
-Fabrication and installation of
commercial storefronts and curtain walls
-Residential installations such as
insulated glass, cabinet glass, mirrors
and sash balances
-Cutting glass
-Installation of various shower enclosures

Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and provide references upon request. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted. Pay based on experience ($15-$20 an hour).

We are a small company that is rapidly growing. We are seeking a hard working individual who will grow with us. We offer 10 paid holidays a year and other incentives for a job well done.
